What’s in your tote bag?
Here’s an easy tip to keep you and your family sun-safe. Get ready for the summer with a tote bag full of different ways to protect your skin! Keep your tote bag handy whenever you head out for some summer fun!
Some important things to pack:
- A lightweight long-sleeved shirt or cover-up.
- A hat with a wide brim that shades your face, head, ears and neck.
- Sunglasses that block both UVA and UVB rays.
- Sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and both UVA and UVB (broad spectrum) protection.
The most effective way to fight skin cancer is to prevent it from developing. Although sunburns can put your skin at risk for skin cancer, unprotected exposure may add to the damage that can lead to skin cancer. It’s important to Check the skin you’re in!
